The place of adventure and inspiration “Nākotnes parks” is a 50-hectare territory, where families with children, companies of friends and colleagues, lovers and enjoyers of life, and every enthusiast of good recreation will have an exciting time. “Nākotnes parks” is located in Glūdas parish, Jelgava region – the place where the famous collective farm “Nākotne” was established in the middle of the 20th century. Here adventures alternate with peaceful rest and industrialism is successfully combined with nature.
“Nākotnes parks” gives a chance to look into a more ancient past – in the exhibition of antiquities and the “Time Machine” workshop visitors can view vintage things and learn their stories. We have a collection of retro mopeds, motorcycles and bicycles, including almost all the moped models produced in the “Sarkanā zvaigzne” Motorworks in Riga. There are also the production plants of “Milzu!” and “Dabas dots” organic bio-certified products and the “Safe Flight to the Future” helipad (“Future Wings”). Moreover, “Nākotnes parks” has a 7.4 h apple orchard “Ābeles un bites” (Apple Trees and Bees) – a perfect place to enjoy relaxing and recharging holiday in nature, to collect the sweetest memories and to take the most beautiful pictures. For longer stays, there are a couple of cosy holiday houses and a comfortable GAZ 63 for the most daring romantic adventurers!
