The guest house “Pūpoli” is part of the adventure and inspiration site “Nākotnes parks”. Formerly, an administrative centre of the innovative Soviet collective farm “Nākotne” (Future), the village today is a place that combines adventure with relaxation and industrialism with nature. Spreading in an area of 50 hectares, it is a super exciting place for families with kids, friends and colleagues, lovers and enjoyers of life, and every fan of good recreation.
The urban vintage house mixes and matches contemporary and modern with industrial design style offering a functional and practical but cosy open space with light colour palette and clean-lined minimalist furniture. The unique “Pūpoli” guest house is perfect for overnight stays of up to eight persons.
On the ground floor, there is a kitchen living room combo fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home ‒ dishes, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. A washing machine and dryer are available to guests in the storage room. A separate toilet and shower bathroom is also available.
On the first floor, there are three separate bedrooms for up to eight guests and a combined shower and toilet bathroom. A separate exit leads onto a terrace furnished with chairs, the 1960s Soviet era ship lamps and offering a beautiful view of the Zemgale Plain and the adventure and inspiration site “Nākotnes parks”.
Guests can refresh themselves swimming in a nearby pond or entertain themselves visiting the attractions in “Nākotnes parks” ‒ to enjoy the scenic apple orchard “Ābeles un bites” (Apple Trees and Bees), to visit the exhibition of antiquities and the “Time Machine” workshop, to view the collection of vintage mopeds, to immerse themselves into a magical world of helicopters in the maintenance centre and the Future Wings helipad and to enjoy the organic and innovative products of “Milzu!” and “Dabas dots”.
Accommodation has a child safety protection to prevent stair accidents, so it is suitable for families with kids.
