Wake up the pilot in you – get in the corncracker!

As you approach the “Park of the Future”, you can already see a corncracker – a yellow and pink “An-2” aircraft from the distant 1956. Not only can you see the aircraft, but you can also climb into it, sit in the pilot’s seat and imagine yourself as the pilot. Such an aircraft was used for fogging fields at the famous Kolkhoz “Nākotne”, which was once located in the park.

Every day, apple trees will be in full bloom in the vast apple orchard “Apple Trees and Bees” in “Future Park”. This enchanting natural wonder will only last for a short while, so plan your trip now. You can’t go wrong with a beautiful photo in these blossoms, and chances are it will be even more beautiful than in the sakura! Discover the treasures of “Time Machine”!

A giant train searchlight, an astronaut’s helmet, pharmacy bottles and flasks, factory workbenches and lamps, centuries-old hairdressing salon equipment, an old postman’s bicycle – all of these are old junk to some, industrial design and antiques with interesting stories to others. These are just a few of the vintage pieces that visitors can see when they cross the threshold of the Time Machine antiques repository and workshop. And then there are the interesting stories and the opportunity to touch and try these ancient exhibits for yourself!

Throw a curve with a splash!

“The pride of Future Park is its extensive collection of mopeds (also known as plirks), mini-rickshaws and motorcycles, which comprises nearly 40 pieces of equipment. Among them are almost all the mopeds of the Riga motor factory “Sarkanā zvaigzne”, including the moped “Rīga 12” designed by Gunārs Glūdiņš, which is included in the Latvian cultural canon. If you’re lucky, you might be able to take a turn on a retro ride!
