Clay clay making masterclasses!

Attend a ceramics masterclass and create your favourite and useful everyday blob or mug while enjoying the special vintage atmosphere in the Time Machine!

The Masterclass is a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of clay and spend creative time with your family, friends or work team. It can also be an unforgettable experience for a hen or stag party!

The works will be made using the ancient technique of moulding. The designer – ceramics enthusiast Līna Lukstiņa will assist in the gluing (shaping).

Clay clay clacking promotes positive emotions and helps release emotional tension. Clay clay also exercises patience, finger dexterity and spatial thinking. The process of creating a vessel from a lump of clay is time-consuming. Kneading clay. Smile. A meditative process of creation by claying. Decorating. Autograph. Joy. Drying. Waiting. Biscuit baking. Glazing. Final firing. Admiration and pride in the result.

The finished works will be glazed with a transparent glaze and fired, so they will remain in the studio for about 1-2 months after the workshop. Afterwards, each participant will be able to receive a fully finished vessel of their own design!

If your vessel breaks during firing, you have the option of attending a second class to create a new vessel at a 50% discount.

No prior knowledge is required for the masterclass!

The first masterclass will take place on Saturday, 12 June, at 10.00. 12.00.

From now on, masterclasses will be held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at. 17.00.

Prices:

25 EUR per person
Family tickets:
2 adults and 1 child – 60 EUR (25 + 20 + 15 EUR)
2 adults and 2 children – 75 EUR (25 + 20 + 15 + 15 EUR)
For the third (and each subsequent) child the ticket price is 13 EUR.
