The Antiquities Repository and Workshop “Laika mašīna” offers to see the industrial vintage and retro collection of the passionate collector Andris Karičkins, listen to his fascinating stories of antiques, as well as participate in masterclasses and create something interesting and lasting yourself.
Pre-Soviet and Soviet household objects, industrial tools and machines, machinery, industrial lamps, scales and even early 20th century hairdressing salon equipment – this is just some of the antiquities on display in the Time Machine. And behind almost every antique, there’s a special story! By the way, several objects that have been restored by hand have now been given a second lease of life and live in the helicopter maintenance centre’s industrial design office, as well as in the “Giant” and “Dabas dots” tasting rooms.
